It has been a busy end to the year for the Avondale Christian Centre with a successful final combined home group, Christmas Party, as well the break up of our ministries. Our families have also been busy with their children's prize givings and end of year school events. We also blessed our church members and families with small gifts and token of appreciation in our last Sunday service. The message this year has been to get back to the real message of Christmas which has been lost in the confusion of the world which has taken away the focus from the birth of Jesus and the message of goodwill and hope he gave to the world, which is the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. Please bless someone this festive season and reach out to someone in need in your community, maybe it is your neighbour or a person you know who has not encountered Jesus. May you be blessed this Christmas and we wish all our friends, families and you a safe and prosperous New Year. Travelling mercies to all our ACC members who will be away over the holidays. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2018 and our first church event of the year, our annual ACC Church Picnic which will be at Shakespear Regional Park in Whangaparaoa on Sat, 3 February. God bless.
