Last Friday's shootings in Christchurch which claimed over 50 people and injured many more shocked not only the Muslim community, but the whole nation of New Zealand and around the world. The Avondale Christian Centre joins the nation in standing by them at this time and praying for the families of those who lost their lives and for the nation. We also pray for heavenly wisdom for our leaders to make the right decisions. God is love and only love and forgiveness can bring peace. Please pray for Christchurch and the nation.
The Avondale Christian Centre annual picnic was held this year at Pt Chevalier Beach in February. It was a blessed time of fellowship over an awesome BBQ lunch prepared by members of the congregation. And we were also blessed with beautiful summer weather which allowed our young ones to enjoy the park and swim.
After a busy 2018 full of breakthroughs and blessings, the ACC Leadership team met for their end of year dinner at Zamzam Restaurant in Mt Roskill while the ACC Youth had their end of year break up dinner at Paradise Buffet Restaurant in Sandringham. Thank God for always providing and his wisdom and strength for guiding us this year. We pray for our leaders to continue to grow in their roles and for our youth to go to the next level in their spiritual growth.
