Avondale Christian Centre joined members of other West Auckland churches for a Prayer Walk to pray for our communities, our city and nation on Saturday morning, 2 September 2017. Despite the rain, church members turned up in force united in spirit to walk the streets of Avondale to pray for the salvation of the people, especially unsaved souls. The Prayer Walkers also prayed against the strongholds that had the most influence - homelessness, poverty, crime, youth suicide, gangs and teenage pregnancies, begging, adultery, idol worship, domestic violence and addictions. We claimed our communities back in the name of Jesus and moved with the spirit, encountering any residents who passed by, asking to pray for them and sharing the gospel with them. It was a powerful time of fellowship and being in His presence. Many thanks to all those who joined us and glory to God for his protection, provision and blessing - we'll continue to pray for more breakthroughs in our communities.
