At today's Sunday Service, the Avondale Christian Centre farewelled one of its longest serving stalwarts. Uili Vaoesea has been called by the Lord to a new undertaking which involves a new youth programme he is developing. Uili has been a father figure and trusted leader who will be missed dearly by the Congregation which he served for nearly 20 years. Known for his immense wisdom, attention to detail and commitment to serving the Lord, Uili played an important role in the church, especially as a mentor to our youth. His experience as a mediator and working with youth and families showed in his strong but caring and humble nature. Whether it was being called to the pulpit to share the Word of God, or giving out advice, he was able to communicate with people from all walks of society, but always led by Godly principles. We pray for Uili that the Lord will protect and bless him abundantly, and reveal the plan for his life.
